From time to time DC releases guides about every character they have. This is somewhat of a collection of those guides, or at least the ones i could find. By following them we can have an idea of how things changed over the years. As you might know during a certain time Slade was only referred as The Terminator for instance. Even though some of the information here is dated i find relevant to preserve these pages since they represent the character's history.

How things are now
A lot of what was established in the N52 is no longer valid, if not everything. His origin resembles mostly to his classic counterpart with only minor changes. Things like which war he fought, how he meet Wintergreen, how he got the name Deathstroke, etc. Still, the skeleton of his origin is there thanks to Christopher Priest.
